we are using the the second sense using our organ (the ear) to locate this sound wave. this wave travel between another atom to another atom. bumping to each other. some sound we find as amusing and some is annoying. Sometimes we can't hear it this is because of the the frequency is too high or to low to locate by our ears. human ears only can detect the sound frequency around 20 Hz to 20,000Hz (20kHz).
